Using the site

StickMeta is free to use. You do not need an account to browse sticks, use the curve translator, or compare options. An account is required to vote, comment, and suggest sticks. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 13 years old.

User-generated content

When you vote, leave a comment, or submit a stick suggestion, that content becomes part of the StickMeta community record. You retain ownership of anything you write, but by submitting it you grant StickMeta a perpetual, royalty-free licence to display, moderate, and remove it as part of the site. We reserve the right to edit or remove any community content that violates these terms.

Accuracy disclaimer

Stick specs, curve data, and community ratings on StickMeta are compiled from manufacturer sources and community contributions. We do our best to keep them accurate, but we cannot guarantee every data point is correct or up to date. Always verify specs directly with the retailer or manufacturer before purchasing, especially for fit-critical details like flex and blade pattern.

Affiliate disclosure

StickMeta earns a commission on purchases made through retailer links on the site. This does not affect the price you pay. Our stick rankings and recommendations are based on community votes and specs, not on affiliate commission rates. We link to the best available retailer for each stick, not the one that pays the most.

Prohibited behaviour

The following are not allowed on StickMeta:

• Casting fake votes or manipulating community rankings
• Submitting spam, misleading information, or fabricated stick data
• Harassing or abusing other users in comments
• Using automated tools to scrape or interact with the site at scale
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or database

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, without notice. If you want to delete your own account, contact us and we will remove it along with your associated data.

Limitation of liability

StickMeta is provided as-is. We are not liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of the site, including purchasing decisions made based on information found here. Use your own judgement before spending money on hockey gear.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
